אדמהThe Land
מאה דונם של כרמים בגובה 960 מטר. אנחנו על קו הספר — המקום שבו ההר נגמר ומדבר יהודה מתחיל. האדמה כאן מאתגרת, חשופה לשמש וצופה לים המלח; המפגש בין הקרינה המדברית החזקה לצינת הגובה מעניק לענבים שלנו עוצמה וריכוז פרי יוצאי דופן.A hundred dunams of vineyard at 960 metres. We sit on the frontier line, where the mountain ends and the Judean Desert begins. The soil here is demanding, bare to the sun and facing the Dead Sea; the meeting of fierce desert light and the chill of altitude gives our grapes rare power and concentration of fruit.
רוחThe Spirit
הסיפור שלנו הוא השקט של המדבר והקצב של הבית. זוג, חמישה ילדים שכבר מזמן הפכו לחלק בלתי נפרד מצוות הבציר, ושירות מילואים שמתערבב עם שגרת הכרם. האוויר היבש והמרחב הפתוח הם אלה שמכתיבים לנו את הקצב — שקט, סבלני וממוקד.Our story is the quiet of the desert and the rhythm of home. A couple, five children who long ago became part of the harvest crew, and reserve duty that folds into the routine of the vineyard. The dry air and the open space set our pace — quiet, patient, focused.

בתוך הכרמים הגדולים הקמנו יקב זעיר. בחרנו להישאר קטנים כדי לאפשר לעצמנו יצירה מדויקת ולא מתפשרת. היינות של ראש מדבר הם התוצאה של המפגש הזה: גובה, אדמה מדברית ועשייה משפחתית קרובה.Inside the large vineyards we built a tiny winery. We chose to stay small, to allow ourselves precise and uncompromising work. The wines of Rosh Midbar are the result of that meeting: altitude, desert soil, and close family hands.
